Pediatric Dentistry
It is essential for kids to get an early start on the right path to a healthy mouth. We love to see young kids before their first birthday for exams and fluoride application, as well as educating parents on the best way to care for their child’s teeth. As they grow, we will teach them how to take care of their teeth on their own!
Dental sealants are a tooth-colored plastic coating that is painted and cured into the pits and grooves of a child’s molars as they erupt around 6 and 12 years old. This protects the teeth from harmful bacteria that could get into the fissures and start a cavity. No dental anesthetic is needed and it takes just a few minutes!
Fluoride treatments are one of the easiest ways to prevent tooth decay in kids. At each visit we will apply a fluoride treatment as well as review oral home care to stop cavities before they start!
